The motley visual stimulation will make people dazzling; the involute music will weaken people’s hearing; the sumptuous food and beverage will make people’s gestation failure; apolaustic hunting and entertainment will make people profligate and fickle; the treasures will tempt people’s heart and lead people’s conduct to evil.
Therefore the sage seeks inner purity, and not the longing of creature comfort. The sage keeps to the peaceful, thrifty and simple life, rejects temptation from nonego.
