It is said in this section of the Li Ji/Book of Rites that the convenance of a party for conversation. It includes all standard for sitting, attitude, posture, topic of the conversation and so on. Following is the original text of this part of the Li Ji/Book of Rites.

Keep your expression statedly without change when you are ready to sit on your mat. Lift your lap up one feet to floor before sitting down, so you'll not step on your lap and fall over yourself when you stand up. Put the edge of your robe on the mat automatically and keep your feet resting. You can not stride over the books and musical instrument of elders to step on your mat and sit down. You should kneel down on the floor and set them on another place, and then take your seat.
Sit on the rearward of the mat when you are sitting at leisure without food. Sit on the foreside of the mat when you are on a banquet. Make your posture steady and keep up your spirits when you are sitting there. You should(attach yourself to the conversation around the subject/topic of elders)not talk about the subject that the elders do not refer. Listen to others respectfully. Do not plagiarize others' viewpoint and just replicate comment from someone when you are speaking. You should qoute the historical fact of sages and the ancient emperor if the quotation was necessary.
